This course is intended for people who have done year 12 Advance Mathematics in PNG Education System or similar Education System but unfortunately was not given a space because of lower grading.

This course comprises the units that are similar to the Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands National Curriculums, particularly Advance Mathematics or Mathematics A, as it called in Solomon Islands. 

The only addition to the year 12 units was the year 11 unit on Graphs and Functions.

The outcomes;

Upon completion of Mathematics Major Course No. DMD210 you will be able to; 

1. Communicate mathematical processes and results verbally and writing 

2. Identify interpret, describe, and represent various functional relationships to solve to solve algebraic problems in real and simulated context. 

3. Describe and explain interrelationships between mathematical concepts.

4. Plan, organize and carry out mathematical activities individually and collaboratively.

5. Analysis mathematical situations and construct and apply logical arguments in resolution of mathematical problems.

6. Apply knowledge of numbers and their relationships to investigate a range of different contexts 

The duration of the course is 13 weeks and students are required to sit for an examination in week 14.
