Technical drawing is essential for turning ideas into reality in engineering, architecture, and manufacturing. It is a skills-based course that will improve your drawing skills with more drawing practices, whilst understanding the techniques and materials/equipment that aid in manual technical drawing.
This course, TDT 112- Technical Drawing 1, is a step into level 1 of the technical drawing course. Students will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to be a designer. They will be required to create, interpret, and manage working drawings—detailed technical documents used in manufacturing, construction, and assembly. Students will learn freehand sketching & rendering techniques, dimensioning & scale drawing, pictorial drawing, sectional & detail drawing, design process, and producing technical drawings-architectural drawing.
