This is an introductory chemistry course that is a bridging course for Chemistry II. The topics include atomic combinations/chemical bonding, intermolecular forces, shapes of molecules, atomic nuclei and radiation, thermal properties and ideal gas, qualitative aspects of chemical change with types of reactions, energy changes in chemical reactions, types of reactions, lithosphere, minerals and their production, and the atmosphere.
