This course is designed for final year students to go out and have practical experience with the industry in their respective field of courses they have been equipped from their studies. They are expected to complete six -ten weeks of training. Students will submit a written review of the structure and activities of their host establishment with the supervisor comments on the log book provided by the university, keep a diary of their activities and submit a written report on their experiences. They are also expected to present their summary of their six -ten weeks of industrial training through seminar presentations. A final industrial report is also expected from the supervisors of the host organization/ company to be submitted as part of the assessment for the course. By the end of the training, Students will gain work (hands-on) experience in various institutions that employ scientists (NGOs, ministries, private companies) around Papua New Guinea.
