This course will be taught in two parts/ modules. Module 1 will introduce students to the theories and practices in farm surveying and mapping, road and buildings and irrigation systems design and farm machines and implements. Module 2 will cover other sources of power, their uses and maintenances and production rates and budgets of each machine and implement. How the common farm machines and equipment as indicated are utilized to improve farming efficiency and greater outputs is the emphasis for this course. Students would be involved in theory as well as hands on experience on the model farm and field trips taken for exposure.
