This course is offered only to students majoring in Social Development and Gender Studies in the B.Ed. In-Service program. This course is designed to help students develop basic educational research skills and to provide the opportunity for students to integrate the theoretical concepts and principles gained over the two years of their study by undertaking a research project. The project will require students to identify a social or educational issue affecting the society and communities in PNG and conduct a mini- research in the vicinity of Goroka town. Students will apply the basic research skills they learnt in this course to conduct a research in their topic of interest. The process will lead to a seminar presentation of their findings.
