This unit begins with a brief revision of the historical development of management and administration, an area, which is covered in Module 1. Some attention is given to Ethical values in education administration and its contribution to smart administration of schools. The management process of planning, organizing, and controlling will also be covered.
The bulk of this course will be spent on the management and governance of the PNG Education system at the different levels. Particular attention will focus on the top management level which will be followed with that of the Provincial and school level.
