Course Description
This course attempts to lead the students to examine and articulate the role of the planning theories, concepts and practices of the past to shape the practise in changing contemporary world. It began with exploring the following questions, what is planning and why does it matter?.It exame the origins and history of development of planning as a prefessional discipline, the development of ideas, goal and practice. Identifying and acknowledging history of civilizations and the concepts and theories that were developed.
