In this course the senior high school science curriculum and subject specialism will be examined, with opportunities for planning teaching programs, lesson plans consistent with the Standards based curriculum (SBC) lesson planning, assessment strategies using new science teaching methodology and 21st Century skills including communication skills, being creative, being able to collaborate with others and being a critical thinker. The main focus will be on new methods of teaching and being a reflective science teacher in the context of SBC, focussing on the senior high school science contents.
