Centralization and decentralization are two basic management systems used
Centralization is the concentration of authority (admin power) at the top levels of the organizational hierarchy. this is the retention of decision-making authority by top management
Decentralization is the dispersal of authority and distribution of functions to lower levels of the organizational hierarchy. this is when top management shares decision making authority with subordinates.
