This course is designed to provide students with understanding in comparative education. The course examines and synthesize the fundamental concepts and aspects of comparative education. These include problems of definition, philosophy and principles, history and development, reforms, economics of education, government, purposes, methods, problems and prospects. The comparative approach is to compare the above themes with some selected countries and examine them in line with PNG. The comparative study is to provide comparison of education progress, challenges, successes, similarities, and differences.
