Curriculum
Development
introduces students to the principles and processes of developing,
implementing, and evaluating health education curricula. The course covers
curriculum needs assessment, planning, development of learning outcomes,
selection and organisation of content, teaching and learning strategies,
learning resources, and assessment methods. Students will develop skills to design
and review relevant, learner-centred curricula that respond to the health needs
of individuals, families, communities, and the health care system, with
application to health education.
