This is a modern-approach calculus-based introductory physics for scientist and engineers. It covers a wide range of subjects and will introduce both classical and contemporary ideas in physics, with an emphasis placed on the role of fundamental principles and their relationship to physical laws. This course will introduce the students to the applications of classical thermodynamics with introduction to some very basic concepts in quantum physics, kinetic theory, Maxwell-Boltzmann distribution and three primary phases of matter in terms of symmetry and stability.
