Remedial English is a Uni Wide compulsory Competency based course offered to all Pre - Service Under Graduate Year One students on a semester basis alternatively by schools. The standard of English in Papua New Guinea is declining daily, as we examine students of the present day who are lacking the fundamentals of the English Language Skills. The course provides a customized based support which sets a foundation for academic success, equity and inclusion, preparation for professional life and addresses retention rate.
